Most people are worried their horse won't cooperate for photos, leading to their photos looking rigid and their session experience becoming stressful.
But I've got your back.
As a fellow equestrian, I dedicate my photography to capturing authentic moments that show the real you and your real horse, while still looking good in the process! I know all the tricks to get your horse right where we want them, so that you can live in the moment. Show off your fun quirks, and let your horse do the same. Let's capture the true, authentic version of you.
About me

Hi! I'm Sarah Gable, the owner of Rust & Range Photography, formally known as Laken Equine Photography. Here is where you can find out more about me!

I have had a passion for horses and the western lifestyle for as long as I can remember. My dream is to start a small ranch out west one day, (by booking with me you are funding this dream!) and continue this business in the mountains, capturing the passion and grit it takes to live the western lifestyle.

I believe that telling peoples' stories through photography is truly an honor. I aim to give my clients photos that will be cherished for years to come. So regardless of what work you do, which discipline you ride, or even if you don't ride at all, I would love to capture this milestone in your life!

I am so glad you stopped by and have considered me as your photographer for your special occasions. If you have any questions, I am happy to help in any way I can! You can read more about my business here.
Let's talk.
